South-Korean mobile manufacturer, Samsung introduced Jelly Bean update for their device, Galaxy Note 10.1 in Germany. This update brings the flavor of Jelly Bean along with other enhancements like Google Now and Project Butter. Users also reported that the new update improves performance of the tablet, adding the improved S pen functionality with Quick commands and a set of apps including Pop Up Play, Paper artist and Mini apps.
Now, Samsung has started rolling out Jelly Bean update for the same device in the US. This firmware update (build JZO54K) brings features including the new “multi-window” allowing users to utilize two different applications side-by-side at the same time, “Airview” controls the S Pen, Easy clip, The good news for this Android 4.1.2 Jelly Bean update is it can fix the Exynos processor vulnerability which is found on many devices using Exynos 4 SoC and Samsung kernel sources.
The Jelly Bean update (487 MB data) is now available for Wi-Fi versions only. Tablet owners report over the XDA Developers forum that the update can be done successfully through both OTA download and Samsung Kies as well.
